Andrzej Ulaszek
Anarchist or Working Class Hero?
Initial Research from Joan Coster
This is an interesting story a few of us are working on. We are trying to find who this Andrzej "Andrew" Ulaszek was.
I think he was a working class hero.

On the 1910 census. The Andrew Ulaszek who is listed as a brother in law with Frank Watroba and his wife Catherine (Ulaszek) is the son of Jakob Ulaszek and Marianna Marszalek. Jakob Ulaszek was the brother of my g-grandfather Michal Ulaszek living in South Chicago. This Andrew was born 2 Oct 1873 in Osobnica, Catherine , his sister was born in 5 Aug 1876. Andrew (Andrzej) must have only worked here temporarily. He was listed as married on the 1920 census but did not have his family with him. He died in Osobnica in 1956. He was married in Osobnica in 1896 so this could not be the Andrew in the court case.
If this was the guy, would have been in jail from 1894 until 1899 so this makes sense. So this may be the right guy. but I am not sure. If anyone from this family can confirm or deny this, I will make appropriate corrections. If this is the wrong guy, a thousand apologies.
