The Orbik Family

The Orbik family comes from a region in Poland currently called Podlasie.

Records from the parish of Barglow Koscielny, in the county of Szczuczyn, show Orbiks there as early as middle1600's.  There are several Orbik family groups consisting of about 100 Orbiks currently living in America. I can all trace most of them  back to three brothers who lived in the village of Tajno in the early 1700s. My branch later moved to nearby Tajenko.
