The Plague of 1710-1711
This is a list of people who died in Tayno from the plague of 1710 brought on by the "Third Northern War".
From AGAD, Archiwum Potockich z Radzynia, call number 245, page 269 translated by Iwona Dakiniewicz.
It happened in Goniadz, on the second Sunday after the holiday of Lent in 1711.
The local authority of Goniadz, Captain Branscen, acting as the commander of regiments with a company of Maciej Kuzma , Wawrzyniec Cichun, Wojciech Sakowski , Tomasz Szczepanczuk from the villages TAJNO, Wolka , Wozna Wies i Barglowka - the advocates of Tajno and witnesses - they reported about the disaster which happened during last year ; the pest [plague].
They expressed their grief , grudge and demand for compensation for neglected duties.
