The Orbanski Families in Early Tajno

I have been trying with much difficulty to determine the origins of the name Orbik, since it has no real meaning in Polish and most Polish genealogists do not consider it Polish. The letter combination ORB does not occur in the Polish language with the exception of reference to the Latin ORB. There is a slight chance that this name is related to another family living in Tajno in the late 1600s - the Orbanskis.
