Stanislaus Nalepinski obit / Dorota Schermann Nalepinska Obit

Thomas Nalepinski's death record on Sept 6 1918 lists his spouse as Dora Nalepinski and his parents as Frank Nalepinski and Kate Czerwinski. His birth was listed as Dec 14 1851 but there is no such birth listed in Kcynia. Maybe Tomas and Wyncent were born somewhere else?

A obituary of Marya Schermann (nee Baranski) in 1891 listed Tomasz Nalepinski as a son-in-law and Dorata Nalepinska as a daughter-in-law. John Schermann was Marya's husband. He was an alderman of the 16th ward in Chicago and son of the first Polish family that settled in Chicago, Antoni and Franciszka Schermann (Smargorzewski).

Other Nalepinskis in Chicago

There was a marriage on Jan 28, 1889 between Ignacy Forman and Tekla Nalepinski. No parents were listed.

Research Notes

The Kcynia Parish records filmed by the LDS have a gap from 1820 to 1835, which made it initially difficult to make family connections. I contracted a well known and reliable genealogist in Poland (Iwona Dakiniewicz) to extract birth/marriage/death records from this gap. This allowed me to confirm many connections that were assumed through the use of Chicago death and obituary records.
