1837 Palikówka marriage record of my ancestor Sebastian Rząsa, son of Mikołaj and Sophia Rząsa, aged 41, colonist, retired soldier, to Agnes Wilk, daughter of Gregorz and Rosalia Wilk, 30. Soldiers were often not allowed to marry until after 30. I am tyrying to find out what unit he served with. Born in 1794, he could have entered service anywhere between 1811 and 1822 providing he enlisted as early as 17 or was released after the typical 15 years.
